Shannon Michaud, Esq
Shannon Michaud is an Associate at Lynch, DeSimone & Nylen, LLP. She is engaged in the practice of real estate tax law, with a concentration in tax litigation and payment in lieu of tax agreements. Much of her time is spent reviewing and evaluating tax assessments, researching legal issues and drafting memoranda, including settlement agreements, discovery requests and responses to discovery motions and other pleadings for matters before the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board.
Ms. Michaud also assists in drafting briefs to the Appellate Tax Board and the Massachusetts Appeals Court. She oversees the tracking of deadlines for and preparation and filing of real estate tax abatement applications to various municipalities and appeals to the Appellate Tax Board, and preparation of various spreadsheets for settlement and trial purposes.
Ms. Michaud joined Lynch, DeSimone & Nylen, LLP in 1995 shortly after graduating magna cum laude from Northeastern University. Ms. Michaud graduated from Suffolk University Law School (cum laude) in 2000 and has been admitted to practice before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
